Both Gradual and Sudden – Part 2/2

sacred-116-1By Steve Beckow, Golden Age of Gaia

(Concluded from Part 1, yesterday.)

Leaving my account aside now, the Mother has pointed to a heart opening in our future. That’ll lead us to the Natural Self.

Enjoy riding the tsunami for as long as it lasts. Let it sweep you clean. This is the River Jordan that washes away our sins.

And it may end. Most experiences short of Ascension are temporary.

The train has at least one twenty-four hour stopover in Dark Night Canyon.

But what lies around the next bend after that? If you’re like me, you want to know.

This is one of the next stopovers: The loving you, the Natural Self blossoms into an all-wise, all-patient Being. That being I call the Higher Self.

Seeing both will definitely amaze you.

So there are two stops on the journey that I know about so far, two plateaus reached that will both astonish you. First the Natural Self and next the Higher Self. For all I know there may be other stops in between for other people. There are definitely more stops after.

Again, Ascension is both gradual and sudden. Knowledge of the Natural Self via a temporary heart opening is one sudden jump or realization. Knowledge of the Higher Self, via a vision perhaps, or some other event is another sudden jump or realization.

These sudden jumps are punctuated by measured spaces of gradual assimilation and unfoldment – well, just as you see me doing here – before another sudden jump occurs.

I’m assimilating everything I saw in or downloaded from the three-second vision of my Higher Self. Just as I had to assimilate the heart opening and the visions of mastery, abundance, peace, etc., so I also need to assimilate what I saw on this occasion.

As long as we remain in these physical bodies and take them with us, I think Ascension has to be both gradual and sudden.
