A Savior or a Monster … Yah, No.

I’m reading our (lightworkers’) commentaries on other blogs and I keep wincing.

So often, we seem to be ignoring the middle ground and going for sensationalism, jingoism (excessive flag-waving), and other effects. I’d rather see us aiming for accuracy, integrity, and utility.

Headlines fairly scream at us. We consider someone a savior or a monster. There’s no middle ground and hence there’s no peace.

Peace doesn’t usually make itself known in the midst of turmoil. In my experience, only when the senses, mind and other systems quiet down is peace known.  We have to be peace before we experience or realize it, apparently.

I had an experience the other day in which I became aware of a stillness inside me that was totally independent of every moving, audible thing around me, including myself – my thoughts, my feelings, even my body.

I knew I was that stillness. And every day since then, I’ve felt myself drawn more and more into it.

Today, as I walked along the beach, happy to see the sun setting in the West (which my apt. faces), I tried to be stillness in action. (1) Having tasted the peace of stillness, I now craved stillness wherever I went and in whatever I did.

In stillness lies peace and once we taste peace, we’re not satisfied with anything less. I don’t even read an article that sounds sensationalist any more. Why would I read it, having tasted what we’re after, which is peace? What has sensationalism to offer me now?

The only information I want to entertain as worthy to remember is that which comes from the middle (preferably, love), speaks in neutral language, stays away from absolutes, and acknowledges the beneficent order behind surface appearances.

Focusing on building Nova Earth will soon become all consuming. I firmly believe that we’ll be fully occupied then in making the news rather than following it.

(1) I feel a special connection to the sun. In my 1987 vision, the big golden sun represented God the Father. Now, when I see our sun, it’s like being in that vision again.

The small golden star, after it flashed back on, flew back to the sun and immersed itself in it.  Seeing the sun beside me as I walk the beach is like seeing my best friend and partner.

For a description of the vision, see “The Purpose of Life is Enlightenment – Ch. 13 – Epilogue,” at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2011/08/13/the-purpose-of-life-is-enlightenment-ch-13-epilogue/

  1. Reblogged this on Awaken Lifeform and commented:
Experience the surrounding from a neutral position requires silence of the mind, so you can be in the middle as witness before you decide to take a position. If there is a biased mind in front, it will shape and limit the experience to duality, you will enter one of two extreme positions. All that is was limited to duality with thought.
