Balance, Love, and the Riddle of Existence

Being balanced? Does it mean being devoid of love?

Being balanced means no longer swinging out to the mental and emotional extremes.

It means clearing a space within oneself. To say “quiet the mind” is to point at the same thing.

Does that space remain vacant? If not what fills it up?

Love and the divine qualities that derive from it fill it up, as I see it.

The space that balance creates is filled by and with love.

The whole purpose of being balanced, in my opinion, is to clear a space for love.

There’s no space for love if we’re angry or cold with each other. Our angry thoughts fill up our conscious space. Our coldness freezes us and thwarts flow. And love must flow.

It takes years and years to reach a point of being balanced from a point of being angry all the time.

And when finally space is cleared, in it, one experiences love and joy and bliss, all the heavenly qualities.

I think some people feel that we need to be balanced towards everything. I’m not aware that loving with wild abandon, as Mary Magdalene put it some time ago, (1) is at all harmful.

As long as one can remain balanced amid the extremes and love with abandon, I think one may have solved the riddle of existence.

Footnotes

(1) “Do you realize that this tool of Love can be wielded with utter power and abandon, knowing that with every swipe of it, you become more whole, more entrenched in your divine nature — more whole within all your aspects, and more capable of absorbing and integrating all parts and aspects of you, multidimensionally, as well as with all aspects of Christ Consciousness/God Consciousness?” (“Mary Magdalene via Fran Zepeda: You Are Pure Divine Love,”
